Vegan and Gluten Free Oatmeal Cookie Protein Shake

If you’ve been following my blog + recipes, you know that I have a VERY strong love for Bob’s Red Mill. When I had to go gluten and dairy free 3 years ago due to sensitivities, they were my saving grace from going absolutely insane. Need a gluten free cookie mix? Bob’s got you. Need certified gluten free oats? Bob’s got you. Don’t have time to make your own gluten free muesli mix? Well, you get the point.

But before I get ahead of myself, let me tell you a bit more about my fav company ever.

When BRM teamed up with Fit Approach to find bloggers to test out their new protein powders, I couldn’t raise my hand faster. These new protein powders/nutritional boosters are the jam: they’re gluten free, vegan and full of probiotics. Not only that — they’re plant-based! No weird protein you’ve never heard of before. Bob’s not about that. They’re not chalky (like a lot of protein powders are….ew) and they blend up super well.
So, without further adieu, let’s get to the delish recipe:
Here’s what you’ll need for the quick and easy protein shake:
- 1/3 cup Vanilla Protein Powder Nutritional Booster
- 1 cup Unsweeted Vanilla Almond Milk
- 2 Medjool Dates
- 1/2 cup Gluten Free Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Ice Cubes
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Throw all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. That’s literally it. Pour that baby into a glass, stick a straw in it and enjoy that sweet, sweet goodness packed full of protein and probiotics!
